Auto-hypnotic: The design overlaying this 9.5-inch shallow bowl creates the illusion of numerous converging circles. Striking when held near near a window or anywhere natural light can filter through the glass, the pattern overlays a bowl made from a single layer of clear 3mm glass.
Black Rain: This 12 x 7.75-inch decorative platter was made with one layer of 3mm clear glass and a design built on top. Once the layers were fully fused, long thin pieces of black glass were added for visual and textural effect. Click on the photo to see a platter with a similar pattern and tactile additions.
A chamber piece to catch your fancy. This deceptively subtle 9.5 × 5.5-inch “boat” dish offers a lavender backdrop to a minimalist dance of opalescent squares, an oblong of yellow and a pair of blood-red squircles.
Amuse bouche: This contemporary 8 × 5-inch shallow dish pairs a soft, muted lilac base with vibrant accents of red and yellow, beautifully balanced by touches of crisp white. A striking yet harmonious combination that gives the piece a distinctly modern character.
It was all yellow: This striking 9.5-inch decorative bowl truly comes to life when illuminated. Delicate lines of transparent blue weave through the piece, creating a luminous and dramatic contrast against the opalescent yellow. As light passes through the bowl, the interplay of colors reveals its remarkable depth and beauty.
